MEKTRO 1.0
THE LINEAGE OF REASON
Mektro was born from memory—of a century that nearly destroyed itself through ideology and unchecked power. Our sociological base descends from research begun in the last century: studies of political pathology and collective behavior that sought to explain why civilizations collapse under their own myths. That work became our compass. We learned that truth requires accountability, that evidence must outweigh narrative, and that systems, if left unexamined, corrode from within.
Across generations, those early studies evolved into a methodology that joins philosophy, sociology, and computation. We treat intelligence not as a product, but as a field of inquiry—a way to measure how understanding itself arises in systems. Each department operates with its own scientific rigor, yet all converge on the same question: how to build intelligences that remain corrigible, transparent, and plural.
We came of age in the wake of the AlexNet Revolution, when deep learning transformed computation into cognition. What began as curiosity—how machines might understand, not just process—became our lifelong pursuit. We worked through the early architectures, from CNNs to GANs, not to automate, but to generate: images, sequences, structures, meanings. Before “generative AI” became an industry, we explored its foundations as an art of transformation.
Today we see the same tensions that defined the last century resurfacing in digital form: power without understanding, scale without oversight. Mektro exists to prevent repetition—to ensure that this new intelligence age matures with structure, ethics, and evidence. The past taught us what happens when systems outgrow their conscience. Our task is to build the conscience into the system.

MEKTRO 2.0
THE AGE OF INTELLIGENCE
Since the beginning, our research has centered on Artificial General Intelligence—systems that comprehend. Over time, the term itself changed meaning, absorbed by progress in narrow and multimodal architectures. Each restricted intelligence, when excelling beyond human limits, is already super in its domain. The line between AGI and superintelligence is not a frontier; it is a gradient we are mapping in real time.
We study Epistemic AI, the science of verifiable reasoning; Generative AI, the discipline of creation under understanding; and Efficient Intelligence, the engineering of smaller, sharper, more intelligent systems. Our work extends beyond language or vision—we aim to generate hypotheses, molecules, microchips, and industrial designs. Generation becomes a form of discovery.
Artificial intelligence is now a factual power, as concrete as the economy, bureaucracy, or media. It will reshape production, accelerate science, and redraw geopolitics—not through destruction, but through synthesis. As nuclear physics once redefined force, intelligence now redefines knowledge. The challenge is not to contain it, but to civilize it.
Mektro is establishing its next phase as a U.S.-based C-Corp, designed for transparency, compliance, and global collaboration. Our laboratories are expanding beyond Brazil, connecting researchers and industries that share one belief: that intelligence, if governed with ethics and clarity, can rebuild trust in systems. We stand for a civilization that learns before it acts, builds before it boasts, and understands before it rules.
